Passports must be valid for at least six months from the date of arrival in Bolivia. Travellers should also have sufficient blank pages for entry and exit formalities.

Tourist visa applicants may be required to provide a passport valid for at least six months, a completed application form, photograph, travel itinerary or return ticket, proof of accommodation or an invitation, and evidence of sufficient funds. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required if visiting high-risk endemic areas.
