To enter the United Arab Emirates, your passport must be valid for at least six months after the date your arrive.
The UAE welcomes nationals of the following countries to visit for tourism purposes without a visa for varying durations. The countries are Albania, Andorra, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Barbados, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Guyana, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Mongolia, Montenegro, Nauru, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, and Vatican City.
48‑hour and 96‑hour transit visas are valid for travel with Emirates tickets outbound from Dubai. You can only apply for a transit visa online or at the Emirates Commercial Visa APT office at Dubai International airport Terminal 3.
Apply online via icp.gov.ae or visit the nearest consulate.
Pet owners must obtain an import permit from the UAE's Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) prior to travel. Cats and dogs must be microchipped, fully vaccinated (particularly against rabies), and have a valid health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian in the country of origin. Some breeds of dogs are restricted or banned, so it's important to check the latest regulations. Upon arrival, pets may be subject to inspection and quarantine.
