Weather in Singapore

Best time to visit

Giving its position sitting one-and-a-half degrees north of the equator, expect a tropical climate with warm to high temperatures, high humidity, and plenty of rainfall.

Temperatures usually range from 22°C (72°F) to 35°C (95°F). April and May are the hottest months, with the wetter monsoon season from November to January. Between July to October, the city can be prone to a haze caused by bush fires in neighbouring parts of Asia.

Singapore is also renowned for hosting huge events throughout the years with Formula 1 Grand Prix being the most famous. The nation also has a string of traditional festivals like the Chingay Parade during the Chinese New Year, dragon boat race in May or June, Deepavali the Festival of Lights in October or November, and Hari Raya Aidilfitri which is after Ramadan.
