Flying to Oslo

Airlines operating direct flights to Oslo from the UK include British Airways, Norwegian, Ryanair and SAS. From the USA, there are direct flights with Norwegian and SAS. Prices are fairly steady year-round, but summer is the most popular time to visit, so book well ahead for cheaper fares in July and August.

Location:The station is approximately 8km (5 miles) from the airport, and a taxi journey to the station takes about 10 minutes.
Facilities:

Torp is small, but there are shops, a bar and cafeteria facilities at the airport. Car hire is available from Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz.


Public Transport:

A coach service, in association with Ryanair, links Torp with Oslo's city centre and serves all incoming and outbound Ryanair flights - buses depart from Oslo three hours before flight time. Journey time is approximately two hours. There are regular trains to the capital from Sandefjord station, hourly from 0500-2200 on weekdays.

There is a left-luggage and lost property office (tel: +47 6481 3477) opposite the railway station in the arrivals area. A porter service is also available from this office.
