Flying to Dubai

British Airways, Emirates, Qantas, Royal Brunei and Virgin Atlantic all operate direct flights to Dubai from the UK. If you're travelling from the USA, there are direct flights with Emirates. Peak travel periods include school half-terms, Christmas (inbound/outbound) and July (outbound), although good deals can be had during off-peak periods, such as Ramadan and the hottest months between June and September.

Dubai International Airport is located 14 km (9 miles) northeast of Dubai downtown.


Money:

Banking services, ATMs and bureaux de change are available from a number of banks in each terminal and within the concourses. Dubai Duty Free (www.dubaidutyfree.com) also offers foreign currency exchange, banking and internet facilities.


Luggage:

A dedicated lost and found service is available for personal items misplaced in the terminal area (tel: +971 4224 5555). Short-term baggage storage with a fee is available in Terminal 1 and 3. More information can be found via airport interactive maps.
